Cominciamo dal divano… – Let’s start from the couch…

Pausa lunga, ma necessaria.

Mi perdonerete, spero, ma l’inizio della scuola ha richiesto tutta la mia attenzione.

Leggevo questa mattina il nuovo post di Mimmablu, ed è un po’ come se mi avesse tolto le parole di bocca.

In questo mese e mezzo abbiamo riorganizzato i ritmi familiari: prima di tutto ci alziamo un po’ prima al  mattino, perché mia figlia fa il pre-scuola e deve essere a scuola per le 8.00, altrimenti io arrivo tardi al lavoro; poi ci sono i compiti, subito, fin dalla seconda settimana, il mercoledì pomeriggio, giorno di rientro, e il venerdì per il lunedì. Infine, tanto per complicarmi la vita, l’ho iscritta ad un corso di ginnastica ritmica, il sabato.

Così in questo mese e mezzo ho visto i miei pochi spazi diventare sempre più esigui. Ho continuato sì a cucire, di quello non riesco a fare a meno, ma ho completamente abbandonato il blog.

Per farmi perdonare la lunga assenza vi faccio vedere i piccoli cambiamenti che ho apportato in casa mia in questo periodo, a dire la verità ho iniziato durante l’estate, quando ho deciso, dopo molte riflessioni che volevo rifare le tende di casa, tutte!

Pause long, but necessary.

Forgive me, I hope, but the beginning of the school took all my attention.

I read this morning the new post of Mimmablu, and is a bit ‘as if I had taken the words out of his mouth.

During this month and a half we have reorganized the rhythms family: first of all we get up a little ‘earlier in the morning, because my daughter does the pre-school and has to be at school by 8:00 am, otherwise I arrive late for work; then there are the tasks at once, since the second week, on Wednesday afternoon, the day of return, and Friday to Monday. Finally, just to complicate my life, I enrolled in a course of rhythmic gymnastics on Saturday.

So in this month and a half I saw my little space becoming increasingly scarce. I continued to sew yes, what I can not do without, but I completely abandoned the blog.

Forgive me for the long absence I show small changes I’ve made in my house at this time, to tell the truth I started over the summer, when I decided, after much thought that I wanted to redo the curtains of the house, all!

Tempo fa mi è stata regalata della stoffa di garza leggera, color panna, perfetta per farci delle tende, è davvero tantissima, ho calcolato che riesco a usarla per tutte le finestre di casa e ne avanza ancora un bel po’ (grazie Michele!).

L’unico dubbio che avevo, oltre al fatto che è un impegno non da poco, è che la stoffa un po’ si stropiccia  con il lavaggio e dopo deve essere stirata. Dopo varie riflessioni ho deciso di procedere a piccoli step, ho iniziato dalla tenda del bagno, poi ho cucito la tenda per la finestra sulle scale, ve le mostrerò  più avanti, e sono venute davvero bene, semplici ma eleganti, e  il colore  chiaro riempie di luce agli ambienti.

A settembre, passato il caldo, mi sono dedicata a quelle della sala. Avevo delle tende che mi erano state regalate da mia madre, quando mi sono sposata, ma erano scure, a righe alternate bronzo e azzurro, sia ben chiaro le avevo scelte io, ma non mi piacevano più. Erano scure e rendevano scuro anche l’ambiente, però non mi decidevo a rifarle, un po’ per nostalgia, un po’ per indecisione, poi una mattina ho tagliato la stoffa e l’ho appesa, con le mollette da bucato, al bastone delle tende e l’ho lasciata lì, per un paio di giorni.

Mi pareva che la  stanza fosse  cambiata completamente, si era schiarita e così mi sono messa all’opera.

In September, after the heat, I am dedicated to that room. I had some curtains that I had been given away by my mother, when I got married, but they were dark, alternating rows of bronze and blue, mind the choices I had, but I did not like most. They were dark and made it dark the environment, but I do not I decided to do them again, a bit ‘of nostalgia, a little’ for indecision, then one morning I cut the cloth and I hung with clothespins, to stick tents and left her there for a few days.

It seemed to me that the room had changed completely, it was cloudy and so I started work.

Dopo averle confezionate, ho deciso che non volevo  fermarle con le solite calamite, volevo qualcosa di particolare, era appena tornata dalla montagna e avevo ancora impresse nella memoria le finestre delle casette di Predazzo, tutte pizzi e fiori.

Dopo aver curiosato in Internet e aver consultato qualche rivista ho trovato quello che cercavo in uno dei miei negozi di oggettistica preferito, è un fioraio in realtà, ma nel reparto al piano di sopra c’è uno spazio  dedicato all’oggettistica in stile shabby chic, lì ho trovato questi cuori e me ne sono letteralmente innamorata.

Ne ho acquistati due, spaiati, per fare due fermatenda, pensando che avrei acquistato  dei ganci da attaccare al muro, ai lati della finestra, dopo aver fatto delle prove mi sono detta che forse ne bastava uno solo, agganciato alla tenda con il suo cordoncino. Non ho ancora deciso cosa fare e nel frattempo lo tengo così.

I purchased two unpaired, to make two fermatenda, thinking that I bought hooks to attach to the wall, on either side of the window, after the tests I told myself that maybe it was enough one, hooked to the tent with its cord . I have not decided what to do and in the meantime I keep it so.

Mi piaceva così tanto l’idea del cuori sulle tende che ho acquistato anche questo, ricoperto di tessuto, e l’ho attaccato con un nastro al bastone della tenda.

Oltre alle tende ho acquistato due Granfoulard della Bassetti per coprire il divano, mi spiaceva coprire il mio divano rosso ma l’alternativa era strozzare la mia piccola bambina.

Insieme  ai copri divano ho voluto rinnovare anche i cuscini, ho eliminato quelli che avevo, in tono con le vecchie tende e ne ho comperato degli altri.

In addition to the tents I have purchased two Granfoulard by Bassetti to cover the sofa, I was sorry to cover my red couch but the alternative was to strangle my little girl.
Together with sofa cover I wanted to renew the cushions, I eliminated those who had, in keeping with the old curtains and I bought the other.

Ho fatto io sia quello color salmone, sia quello ricamato a punto croce. La tela da ricamo l’avevo acquista diversi anni fa in Trentino, a Malles, in una delle primissime vacanza fatte in montagna.

I did both the salmon, both the embroidered cross-stitch. The canvas embroidery I had purchased several years ago in Trentino, in Malles, in one of the first holiday-made mountain.

Infine ho riordinato la libreria e ho riposizionato i soprammobili, pochi a dire la verità, perché amo più i quadri appesi alle parete che gli oggetti appoggiati sui mobili.

Finally I reorganized the library and I repositioned the knickknacks, just to tell the truth, because I love more than the pictures on the wall that the items placed on the furniture.

Il prossimo progetto, già iniziato, prevede le tende della camera da letto.
